In the heart of the first district in Paris is a recently opened wineshop/deli/wine bar called Spring. With a minuscule office under the roof and a only very basic kitchen at the back of the shop, the place is most of all an extended wine shop.
The food served is simple, street inspired for people passing by during the day. They make excellent soups and serve good wines. You dont even need to get the soup.... The place is simple, not elegant, and although it at times may seem
deserted, it's pure love and nice people looking for an occasion to start talking. Broad and interesting wine selection, though with an emphasis on young wines, and despite the good location it remains rather pricy.
